My name is Tori Lutz. I am 13 years old and this is my fourth year here at the Florida Film Academy. This is my first time doing photography and I love it because photography is a way I can show others how I view the world.

My style of photography is taking pictures of sections of town where people aren’t in. I don’t know why i do it. I guess its a force of habit. I didn’t realize I did it until my teacher pointed it out. She says it makes it look like I’m in a ghost town. I also love taking pictures of animals. I like to capture their beauty wether they are doing nothing or are actively moving. Nature is also fun the capture. I enjoy taking pictures of the bright colored flowers.

My name is Dylan Picard and I am 13 years old. I like to take photographs because photographs are cool and artistic to me and they make an artistic feeling in you. I like editing the photos at the end the most because I feel like I should make the photos artistic. I was inspired by people making photos, such as David Haynes.

These photos of snakes are the best photos that I have probably ever taken. The photos have a texture that plants or mammals cannot have, and that is what makes the photos unique. The photos give a vibrant boom of light and color that makes it amazing.

I picked these photos because i think the pictures i chose had perspective and personality with the filters i used and the animal I chose. I like my pictures because they all have diversity through the species or the color.

My name is Rylee Gawlik and I am 14 years old. I started getting into photography when my parents realized I had an “eye for what looks good”, as they put it. Photography for me is an outlet for expression, you can take pictures of anything you want and it will never be wrong because with photography you use your own creativity. My favorite subjects to take shots of include urban nature, buildings, and my dogs.

My topic is Framing, which is when you use the environment, structures, and light to bring the viewer’s eye to the subject of the photo.  When trying to frame a photo, there are a lot of difficulties depending on what you use, for example, if you are trying to use light to focus on a flower, sometimes the light will move suddenly and then your perfect photo is gone. I found over the course of this camp that I naturally find frames when I take photos which is why I decided to highlight some of my favorite examples of framing that I took.

My name is Jake Cuomo.  I am 13 years old.  About a year ago i was on Instagram and saw these really cool photos and i said i could do better than that but i was to lazy to do photography! At the time my mother bought a camera and so she asked me do you want to go to Lake Ella and i was bored so i said yes. When we got there she brought the camera with hr and i was having a blast using it. Since it was during the summer she asked if you want to go to Mount Dora on a field trip with FFA and I was interested because i had been going to FFA for stop motion class. That day in Mont Dora was unforgettable we had so much fun there and met some new friends. See how much i loved it – I joined the after school program and met even more people! Thursdays there are the highlight of the week.

What inspired me to take this five photos well I might see something i the corner of my eye and take a quick shot or just because. I love photography dearly and think its amazing and here are so many ways people can interpret picture. In some cases I’ll take a photo and heavily edit said photo whatever that be from a car to a flower. To be honest i take a photo when i ever see something that could be considered good – which is basically everything.  Little Jeffy may like this photo but Tom may like the others and I want to have variety with my photos so everyone is happy. With some photos they may look awful and horrible so i try to make them look better in some cases.
