George Skene of the Orlando Sentinel visited recently and spent a few hours filming the FFA students at work…

“The imaginations of children are fired up by the literature of our time, the movies, and Central Florida is a magnet for film production and education with abundant studios and film schools.
The Florida Film Academy offers sessions in film-making for kids using the quaint downtown of Winter Garden as a backdrop.
Working cooperatively in teams, the children write scripts, learn camera usage and act out their scenes. Then they edit their takes into a film that is shown at the end of the week to parents and friends.”
