The Filmmaking students completed filming of their first movie last night – featuring a wonderfully manic performance by Carl!
Final edit of the movie by Mario Kalocsai – cut on Avid Media Composer.
Everyone brings their own vision and style to an edit – the same source material can be put together many ways – and Mario’s interpretation has punch and impact – great job and well done!
Concentrating on camera moves and simple lighting, the first challenge has helped gel the fundamentals while filming their original story.
Next up: the edit and foley sound, culminating with grading for a cinematic look.
Excellent work by the class who hit the ground running with teamwork and imagination.
