It's Not Just Film...
High School Film Academy delivers academic and creative excellence – teaching your child the skills they need to compete in a future global education and professional landscape. Visual communication is key to future success in the global marketplace. Learning how to create and deliver an effective visual message is essential to your child’s future – whatever study and career path they may choose.
Even today, colleges and employers are asking for visual resume’s, presentations and video submissions. Research shows that we have just six seconds to make an impression – our curriculum teaches your child how to make those seconds count.
And for filmmakers, High School Film Academy offers a platform to learn, achieve, network and discover new opportunities to take your creative ambition to the next level.
Our team writes, produces, films and delivers shows to channels including National Geographic, BBC and Discovery. Students progress through modules, designed to encourage teamwork, critical thinking, reflective analysis, problem solving, communication and creativity. We explore the science and the art of film, cutting across film history, theory, filmmaking, visual storytelling and more.
