Learn the basic principles of developing and writing for film and television in this Two Week online intensive for High School Students.
We’ll take a story concept from idea to screen, including how to generate ideas, create structure, understanding story components, analyzing film language and best practices for script writing and formatting.
In this mix of Instructor-led and self-paced blended learning, students will work on daily assignments, take part in Live Instructor-led workshops and video meetings and work individually in breakout, one on one sessions with their Instructor. Students will also have the opportunity to collaborate with each other on story ideas and development.
Students will require a computer with web cam and audio capability and WIFI to take part in this course.

Kay Hill, is a credited writer, producer and Director for over 100 TV shows, documentaries and films for global channels including National Geographic, Discovery, BBC, FOX and Channel Five.
A prior Board Member for the National Geographic Society’s All Road Film Initiative for 12 years and Fellow of the royal Society of Arts. Kay is also an IB Film Examiner and has held positions as School Governor.
