Make a Movie in a Day - with FFA
Media Skills...
Film is more than creative learning - it promotes and develops confidence and real world problem solving.
Students work both individually and as a team, applying critical thinking, and research skills.
A typical day...
Once we’ve broken into our teams we set about a scavenger hunt. This helps the students learn the equipment and get familiar with shots and angles.
Next we meet our expert. This will change depending on the day chosen, it may be a writer, a scientist or historian.
With our information gathered, we build our scripts and start making our films!
When it’s time to edit, we learn how to ‘cut’ the stories, add effects and music and create our final film.
At the end of the day the films are uploaded to our student channel, where parents can watch and download the projects.
COST:
Our Film days start at $50 per student with a minimum booking of ten.
Lunch included.
