Ages 14-18
In this course students will focus on how to create art that is used in animation, film, graphic novels, and video games.
They will learn professional art techniques and process that is used in these industries. Students will learn how to draw the human anatomy, advanced color theory, and the importance of design. Using these techniques each student will create an original character, design an original environment, the art of storyboarding, and layout for visual storytelling.
Students will simulate professional projects and gain an understanding and knowledge of how a professional art studio works in the entertainment field.

Residency students will stay at Flagler College Dorms and this camp price includes all accommodation and food.
A list of items to bring will be sent to families.
Additional fees may apply to optional outings.
For your convenience – residency students can be dropped off Sunday evening (the 1st of July) or Monday morning.
Pick up is Friday afternoon.
Residency students have fun 4th of July activities planned!

Our week-long make-a-movie themed camps are action packed and a lot of fun – students experience directing, filming acting and post production with easy to use – but very powerful – film tools.
Students ready to tackle the next level produce short films with large sensor DSLR cameras and independent sound equipment.
In our intensive Pre-College courses, students work with industry professionals as they learn how to write, produce, direct, film, edit and master a short film in preparation for festival entry. Students are split into crews of appropriate age and experience, with an individualized curriculum.
No prior experience necessary and all equipment is provided.
